Once a month, Brian excitedly jumps in the car to go see two of his best friends.
The excitement is contagious as he sprints to see these childhood friends that he will remain connected with forever. Cole and Gabby are his first friends, his forever friends. They are his siblings.
It doesn’t matter if they are playing at the park, bowling, or visiting the arcade, Brian, Cole, and Gabby are inseparable when they are together. They engage in meaningful conversation, all while having fun. Brought together by supportive caregivers and Fostering Great Ideas’ Sib-Link program, these childhood friends and siblings won’t become a distant, disconnected memory. Their friendship and their sibling bond will continue to flourish beyond childhood.
The love and friendship between this group of siblings isn’t going anywhere.
The bond between Brian, Cole, and Gabby has brought their caregivers together as well. Sib-Link Area Manager CerVon Campbell put it this way, “This group continues to showcase the love and bond between not only siblings, but the foster parents, adoptive caregivers, and kinship caregivers that keep this group going strong.”
Just like any good friendship, the bond between these sibling friends brings people together.
