Training & Support

Life Support® Mentor Training

Mentors provide ongoing emotional support and guidance to youth in foster care. Each mentor is required to get a certain number of training hours each year.

Tutor Match® Training

Become a tutor for a child in foster care. Tutors commit to one quarter of weekly tutoring support for a student. Each tutor is required to get a certain number of training hours each year.
Training & Support

Life in Limbo®

In this interactive workshop about foster care, participants step into the shoes of a parent, caregiver, or the displaced child, learning what it feels like to live their lives.
Training & Support

Speak Up®

Speak Up® is a training designed for youth in foster care and alumni to learn what advocacy is, how to find your voice, and what you can do to take action in reform. After completing the two-session training, you can become part of our SpeakUp® network, which drives our legislative and policy changes.
Faith to Foster

Faith to Foster®

Faith to Foster is a comprehensive package that helps Christian congregations consider their part in the ministry of foster care. This 6-part series explores the realities of fostering with compelling video testimonies from foster parents.

Our Common Loss®

This workshop helps parents to process and grieve the loss of a child who was in their care. Families can gain closure and meet others who share similar experiences. Find a workshop under upcoming Care2Foster events.
