Sibling Zoo & Ice Cream Party!

Enjoy all day at the zoo, with free admission!
A special sibling lunch and ice cream celebration is from 11 am – 2 pm.

Foster parents and Kinship caregivers who provide transport of the children receive mileage reimbursement.

The goal of the Sibling Zoo & Ice Cream Party is to build sibling bonds when siblings are separated in foster or kinship placements. This event is coordinated by the Sib-Link team at Fostering Great Ideas and sponsored by SCDSS. The event is inspired by YEA! Siblings Bee-long Together campaign, bringing awareness to the need of strengthening bonds of siblings, especially when separated from teenaged siblings.
