The countdown to summer is on for school-aged children everywhere.
There is something exciting about having time away from the classroom for rest and relaxation. The highlight of summer is often those experiences outside of the norm, such as attending camp or going on vacation.
Each summer, Dominic looks forward to the week his brother Anthony comes to visit.
Although they are siblings, Dominic and Anthony live across the state from one another. Anthony lives with his grandmother, and Dominic lives with his adoptive family. Despite the distance, they make time for monthly sibling visits and a week of summer vacation with one another.
Dominic and Anthony are already making plans for their week of vacation this year. A trip to the beach, Carowinds, and late nights playing video games are all in order. It is these special experiences that will create memories that last.
Their families continue to arrange time for Dominic and Anthony to spend together.
